The new X5 with this package is decked out in black and red details: the body is blacked out, and the wheels and brake calipers are a distinctive shade of grey with red highlights. The appearance of the latest BMW X5 is more athletic and sophisticated than ever. The shiny chrome and the more subdued matte versions of the kidney grille are visually appealing. The revised bumper causes the thinner fog lights to sit slightly higher than before. To replace the single exhaust outlet in the rear bumper, twin chrome tips are considered. The outside of the X5 will also benefit from an upgraded chrome coating. Gloss paint, 20-inch bi-color alloy wheels, gloss roof rails, an aerodynamic kit, and other aesthetic modifications are all part of the M Sport package. The machined-painted aluminum wheels are 21 inches in diameter and are also available.
The X5’s class-defining simplicity comes from its uncomplicated approach to design. If you compare it to the competition, you’ll see it’s already rather large. The fourth-generation X5 features improved handling and balance thanks to a redesigned chassis and a longer wheelbase. The base V6 model is relatively light, but the optional V8 in the X5 M adds some heft. It has some off-roading skills because of its reasonable ground clearance. In terms of size, width, and height, the BMW X5 SUV should measure about the same as it did before. Still, for $1,450, you can upgrade to Vernasca leather (far more excellent than the standard Sensatec synthetic leather). Still not satisfied? Merino leather comes in all the same tones, with the addition of Tartufo and Ivory White/Midnight Blue, in addition to Cognac. The total cost of this leather upgrade is $4,850, which includes the $2,450 for these choices and includes multi-contour seats, four-zone temperature control, and the Premium package. Various free accent trim alternatives are provided, including Aluminum Dark Mesh, Brown-Metallic Ash Grain wood, Anthracite-Brown Poplar Matte Finish wood, and Aluminum Tetragon.
