With Aluminum Dark Mesh, Brown-Metallic Ash Grain wood, Anthracite-Brown Poplar Matte Finish wood, and Aluminum Tetragon choices, you have extra alternatives with trim accents at no cost. However, you’ll need to add multi-contour seats, four-zone temperature control, black extended Merino leather, the Premium package, and the M Sport aero kit to make the last choice genuinely accessible. These options can cost several thousand dollars. As a stand-alone alternative, glass controls are also available.
A 335-horsepower, turbocharged six-cylinder engine and eight-speed automatic transmission are standard on the 2024 BMW X5. It comes with rear-wheel drive (sDrive40i) or all-wheel drive (xDrive40i) (xDrive40i). This 40i engine is eager and punchy, and it confidently propels the X5 off the line and up to speed. It takes 5.3 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph. The transmission is just as well-polished, and it shifts gears smoothly and quickly. It has all the energy most drivers will ever require, but BMW didn’t stop there.
