The gas-powered Sedan has a load capacity of 17 cubic feet, which is more than enough room to store six bags behind the back seats or 17 in total with the second row folded down. The Alfa Romeo Giulia could hold five and 15 suitcases, respectively, whereas the Mercedes-Benz C300 car could hold one less in both tests. The 330e’s battery pack reduces trunk space to 13 cubic feet, and we haven’t measured its cargo capacity.
One of the features included in the Live Cockpit Plus package is navigation. The 8.8-inch touchscreen displays the standard infotainment system, which may be navigated via the knob and buttons on the center stack, the driver’s voice, or a combination of the two. If you want the whole works, you’ll need to spring for the similarly titled Live Cockpit Pro option, which ups the touchscreen size to 10.3 inches and provides you with the most advanced version of BMW’s iDrive system. Two USB ports are included, and a Wi-Fi hotspot that requires a subscription is available as an extra. Standard features include compatibility with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It won’t give you much interest in the long run, but it will wow your friends for a while.

Even so, everything is heading in one direction, and the 3 Series Hybrid is an excellent way to get there.

If you take away $995 for taxes and registration, the price of a brand new 2024 BMW 330e in the US is just $42,950. That puts the price difference between the 330i Sedan with gas and the cheapest hybrid at only $1,500. The base price of a 330e xDrive sedan with all-wheel drive is $44,950. Compared to the 2024 models, you may save $1,600 by purchasing one. In its most expensive configuration, the BMW 3 Series plug-in hybrid may cost close to $60,000. The new and improved BMW 3 Series, which will debut in June 2023, is an all-new model for 2024.
