The New BMW 4 Series Coupe 2024 Models, Specs, Release Date – The BMW 4 Series Coupe will endure yet another wave of criticism. Seriously, when this car first came out with that outrageous front grille, we thought BMW would never hear the end of it. However, it seems the dust has dropped, and we can finally concentrate on everything this Coupe does well. The range of available powertrains remains as strong as it has ever been, even though some features will be reorganized for the 2024 model year, but other than that, things will more or less stay the same. The spirited little 2.0-liter engine strikes an outstanding balance between power and fuel economy, but the 3.0-liter, 382-horsepower inline-six engine in the M440i and M440i xDrive is the one that always gets our attention.
The BMW 4 Series is an excellent example of a luxury compact automobile. It provides a variety of authoritative engines, ranging from a capable and economical four-cylinder to high-powered turbocharged straight-sixes. The range of available machines is quite extensive. The handling is expertly calibrated whether you want to go for a leisurely drive or put your driving talents to the test on a racetrack. The BMW 4 is available in various body types, including a coupe, a convertible, and a new four-door Gran Coupe that will be available in 2024. The Gran Coupe will have more cargo space than almost any other vehicle in its class. The 4 Series has a user-friendly infotainment system, a beautifully made cabin, and comfortable front seats as standard features on every model.

The New BMW 4 Series Coupe 2024 Redesign
The massive, gaping grille on the 2024 BMW 4 Series Coupe will always be the topic that generates the most discussion among automotive enthusiasts. We have come to tolerate it, and some people even like it; yet, as is the case with any automobile design, the ultimate decision comes down to individual preference. The remainder of the BMW 4 Series Coupe is quite seductive, and we are in awe of its streamlined side profile and athletic rear end. The 430i comes standard with a power glass sunroof, 18-inch V-spoke bi-color orbit grey alloy wheels, Shadowline exterior trim, power-folding, and heated side mirrors. Other standard features include the Shadowline exterior trim. Models of the M440i are equipped with a rear spoiler, an aerodynamic body kit, and 18-inch M-Double-spoke bi-color wheels with performance run-flat tires wrapped around them.
The standard model comes in Alpine White and Jet Black at no additional cost, but it also has the option of being painted in one of eleven distinct metallic hues. Black Sapphire, Mineral White, Sunset Orange, Bluestone, Portimao Blue, San Remo Green, Arctic Race Blue, and Brooklyn Gray are the other colors that fall into this category. All of these metallics can be purchased for a total of $500. Dravit Grey, Tanzanite Blue II, and Aventurin Red are BMW’s three metallic paint options, each costing $1,500. If we were the ones doing the purchasing, we would choose the Portimao Blue color option.

Interior
Unless they are seated at the rearmost position, consumers may not be able to tell much of a difference between the cabins of the 4-series and the 3-series. Although it appears that the dashboard layout, inside materials, and principal controls are all comparable to those found in the four-door version of the 3-series, we noticed that the lower roofline of the 4-series makes the cabin feel like it has less space. In our tests, we were only able to put five pieces of carry-on luggage into the trunk of the coupe model, which is one less than we were able to fit into the box of the 3-series sedan. The convertible type’s trunk capacity is severely limited compared to the 3-series.
Infotainment displays measuring 8.8 inches come standard on the 2024 BMW 4-Series, with 10.3-inch collections available as an option. These displays are similar to those seen in the BMW 3-Series sedan. Both shows utilize the most recent iteration of BMW’s iDrive seven infotainment software. This software combines an easy-to-navigate user interface with a click-wheel controller mounted on the center console for convenient use while driving. Touchscreens allow users to interact with the displays in any way they see fit. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and in-dash navigation will all be standard features. A digital gauge display with a 12.3-inch screen, onboard Wi-Fi, and a wireless charging pad for smartphones will be available as extras.

Engine
There is no subpar option available among any of the four-engine configurations available for the 2024 BMW 4 Series lineup. The entry-level 430i model’s turbocharged four-cylinder engine more than delivers, as it drives this BMW forward with self-assurance, and the automatic transmission makes well-timed changes. The power output of the turbocharged six-cylinder engines found in cars with an M suffix is significantly increased. The M440i gets up to speed noticeably faster than the standard model, and we think it’s the best choice in terms of price and performance among the options.
The EPA predicts that the four-cylinder 430i Coupe will get a city fuel economy of 26 mpg and a highway fuel economy of 34 mpg. When all-wheel drive is factored into the calculation, the estimated fuel economy lowers to 24 and 33 mpg, respectively. The six-cylinder M440i has a city fuel economy rating of 22 mpg and a highway rating of 31 mpg. We have not put the M440i model through our highway fuel-efficiency test at 75 miles per hour, but the 430i xDrive achieved 34 miles per gallon throughout the trial. Visit the EPA website for further details regarding the 4-Series’s performance in terms of fuel efficiency.
